The Basic Signal Identification Course (B-SIC) integrates classroom instruction with hands-on ground training to enhance participants' proficiency in utilizing post mission software applications configured on the Ground Signals Analysis Processor (GSAP). This course equips students with comprehensive expertise in signal identification, encompassing the assessment of external parameters, signal demodulation, and basic bit analysis. Participants will also develop the ability to perform initial signal analysis by importing various file formats into GSAP applications for reporting within the Intelligence Community and for collaboration with mission partners. Graduates of the course will acquire essential competencies for executing post0mission procedures, including conducting thorough signal environment analysis and accurately identifying signals of interest.
